I like this book because of Fredle and his adventure. My favorite part is when he gets out of the house and a mouse named Bardo helps him out . He teaches him how to survive outside.
Fredle peered out into the empty dark air strange sounds filled the darkness creaking and groanings chirpings and whistlings as if the whole nighttime world was busy with life but nothing moved except for the gently waving stalks he stood motionless staring into the night listening intently . Then he looked up .The black air above him was filled with white specks that winced and blinked and trembled they gave no light but they sparkled brightly ,no mouse had ever even hinted as such things. Fredle thought he might be the first mouse ever to see them that thought had made him feel how terribly how alone he was in this unknown outside world but at the same time excited and glad to be exactly who he was exactly where he was, the first mouse ever to see this.
